I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I am not in-network with any insurance company or managed care organization; However, you may be surprised to find out that many insurance plans provide out of network mental health coverage. For clients that wish to use their insurance and have out of network coverage, I provide a monthly statement, aka “Superbill” that can be submitted to insurance companies for partial reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement and the amount of any co-payments or deductible depends on the requirements of your specific insurance plan.fter a successful 10-year career as an award winning Art Director in advertising, I returned to school to pursue my passion for therapy and helping others by earning an M.A. in psychotherapy with a clinical concentration in Art Therapy. I have extensive experience working with children and families in hospital, school, and community mental health settings. As an Art Therapist Resident at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, I provided individual and family services with the palliative care team and led group art therapy with Transgender and non-binary patients in Adolescent and Young Adult Services. My passion for providing LGBTQ services extended to the Trevor Project where, as a trained volunteer, I answered calls from young people who were feeling suicidal or needed a safe, non-judgmental place to talk. Currently, I teach a class at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) instructing first year graduate students. My private practice work involves a great deal of understanding and knowledge gained from my past life as a skilled creative professional, allowing me to better work with high functioning creative adults (and couples) in fast-paced, demanding careers. Many clients are seeking assistance with relationships, work-life balance, self-sabotaging behaviors, life changes, perfectionism, and self-esteem.
